Barbarians' IFFC Cup Success on Hold for Another Year

Published on September 6, 2007

Unfortunately, it was not a great weekend for the A or B teams, as both went out in the IFFC Cup. The B team was short of players -- and short of goals -- as they fell 8-3 to the Chinese. The A team faired slightly better and deserved to get something out of the game, but a failure to put away chances resulted in a 2-1 loss to the Russian-ettes.

The IFFC league kicks off this weekend, and both teams will be looking to produce some better finishing in front of goal, although both face stiff competition in their opening games.

In the ClubFootball 5s league, both As and Bs find themselves in the mid-table area, although the As do have 2 games in hand. If they win both, they could shoot shoot to the top.

Finally, ALL PLAYERS must now register with the IFFC. Even if you have already registered in the past, you MUST fill out the new registration form and provide either two photos or two copies of your passport!!!
