Matchreport: BARBARIANS A vs FRENCH A 29/10/2011 (1-1)
A Poem for the Barbarians A Team
SHAW - MR. KEEPER
Great performance on the course of his talent.
First seasonal game in 'A-team" but already a very good feeling with the defense. To improve the outputs.
Squire.
LAWRENCE
Manage the defense with patient skill. One only distraction and the French scores...!
Left-handed precise and refined: a rarity in defense!
Metronome.
THOMAS
Atypical French guy with rugby passion. Team leader and senior member of the Barbarians.
Last match for him in Beijing: both male and conductive. He never leaves the defense and is not anymore lost in more exotic dribbling. Against its French he gave his best.

Barbarians B Destroy King World - Match Report 16.10.11
Score: Barbarians B (7) - King World (0)
On the 16th of October the Beijing Barbarians B took on King World at Chaoyang Stadium for their third league game of the season. After easily disposing of the Dragons 5-1 in the previous game, confidence was high and the Barbarians were looking for another three points. This was to be Shuang Mu's last game for the Barbarians as Shuang will be moving back to his hometown. The game started off with only 10 regular players available as traffic seems to have been particularly bad on this day in Beijing and several players did not manage to get there on time for kick-off. The starting line up for the Barbarians B team was Shaw Chen as GK, with Ryan Stockdale, Paul Ciempka, Greg Williams and Tomasz Zielinski in Defence. In midfield Alex Woo, Henry George Green, Marcio Delgado and Shuang Mu started the game with Chris Sharpe and David Mejia playing in attack. See all the details after the break...
Barbarians A VS. Russia United - Match Report Oct 15th 2011
On an extremely windy Saturday afternoon at Chaoyang stadium the Beijing Barbarians were taking on Russia United in their 3rd IFFC league game of the season. A beautiful clear blue sky provided for excellent conditions, however not quite compensating for the crappy field. With a large running track circling the pitch and no ball boys it was looking like a lot of running was going to be done off the pitch.
After the previous game’s defeat against Afrika United, the Barbarians were looking to bounce back with a strong performance and getting three points. However, with Captain Mo still out and Keeper Carlos injured, as well as central defensive rock Keith having bent over the wrong way and injuring his back in the process some changes had to be made.
