"Winning games is the aim, but it is just great to be part of this club, this community."

A quote from Andrew, the Barbarians manager, when I asked him to summarise the performances of his team in the last five games. It says is all I feel.

Both the Barbarians and the All-Stars have made a good start to the second half on the season. This was coming, and is evidence of how well training has gone this season. The new recruits has also played their part by fitting in extremely well to the club.

In the IFFC First Division, the Barbarians have picked up 9 points from a possible 15, with three wins and two defeats and scoring a total of 20 goals in that time, keep it up guys.

In the IFFC Premiere League, the Barbarians All-Stars have went unbeaten in five games, also picking up 9 points from a possible 15, with two wins and three draws. This effort has moved us out of the relegation zone and put us in a good position to attack the mid table teams. The defensive efforts and team work rate have also collected two clean sheets in these five games. We have also only conceded two goals in this time, which is a monumental effort, well done lads. If we can only recapture our goal scoring antics of that prior to the start of the second half of the season we shall have no problems staying away from the relegation zone. Come on lads, lets get the shooting boots on eh!
